 For a Five-Day Silent Retreat

 Monday, May 3 – Friday, May 7, 2010

Greenfield, New Hampshire

Agenda:

Monday, May 3:
3-5pm-Arrive, register, meet roommates
5-7pm -Join, discuss the retreat (purpose & practice) and eat a meal together
7pm – Go into silence 

Tuesday-Thursday, May 4-6:
*Breakfast in silence
*Gather after breakfast for a reading from NTI. (Reading only. No comments. No discussion.) – 20 or 30 mins, as guided in the moment
*Silence for the rest of the morning
*Lunch in silence
*Gather after lunch for a discussion (break silence) of everyone’s experience with silence. Help with ego challenges, as needed. (About 1 hour. Less if less is needed.)
*Silence for the rest of the afternoon.
*Dinner in silence.
*Gather after dinner for guitar music in silence (no vocals) – 20 or 30 minutes, as guided in the moment
*Silence 

Friday, May 7:
*Breakfast in silence
*Continued silence
*Gather at 11am for final NTI reading, discussion of experience and guitar (vocals ok this time, if guided)
*Lunch at 12 (conversation ok)
*End at 1pm 

Cost & Registration Information 

Prices includes 12 meals (Monday dinner – Friday lunch) 

Shared room, 2 per room: $385
Private room: $605

Required non-refundable deposit: $100
(note: If you find someone to take your place or if there is a waiting list, your deposit will be refunded when that person registers & pays the deposit.) 

Final payment is due by March 15, 2010
